Consent, unsubscribes and opt-outs
Email and text consent are separate in Nice Rank. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribes take effect immediately. Marketing texts need text consent, while STOP-style keywords opt out instantly.
A customer relationship is not marketing consent. Contact records keep the source, date and wording of permission, and unsubscribed, bounced and opted-out contacts cannot be re-imported or messaged on that channel.
Privacy and security guidance is most useful when account decisions stay connected to visible records. Use individual invitations, a current Activity Log and a clear request when access or data questions arise. Keeping the request tied to the correct workspace helps the team give a practical answer without confusing one business account with another.
How to approach it
- 01
Check the channel
Review email and text eligibility separately before planning a message.
- 02
Honor the opt-out
Let email unsubscribes and text STOP-style keywords take effect immediately.
- 03
Keep the record accurate
Use the recorded consent source, date and wording as the context for future work.
