Register for texting (A2P 10DLC)
US carriers require a business texting registration called A2P 10DLC. Approval is usually completed within a few days. Register before sending text campaigns so the business can use text messaging in the right channel.
Nice Rank keeps service texts, such as reminders and review requests, separate from marketing texts. Text consent is also tracked separately from email consent. Registering the business is one part of a thoughtful texting setup, not a substitute for consent.
A connection is useful only when the account behind it is current, authorized and ready for the work you want to do. Treat setup as a practical check rather than a one-time box to tick. If something disconnects, pause the dependent task, reconnect through the guided flow and then return to the work with reliable context.
How to approach it
- 01
Start the texting registration
Open the texting setup and provide the business details requested for registration.
- 02
Wait for the connection state
Check the account for the registration status before planning text sends.
- 03
Use the right message type
Keep service messages and marketing messages in their separate workflows.
