Text campaigns: characters, segments and quiet hours
Marketing texts need text consent, begin with the business name and end with “Reply STOP to opt out.” Nice Rank sends them only from 8 AM to 9 PM in the recipient’s local time.
One segment is 160 standard characters, or 153 when a message splits. With emoji or special characters, one segment is 70 characters, or 67 when it splits. Keep the message short, clear and connected to a group that has consented to receive marketing text.
Campaign work is easier to trust when every message begins with a clear purpose and the right contact context. Keep email and text choices separate, use the shared contact record before you send and make the next follow-up useful to the person receiving it. A considered audience is more valuable than simply sending to the largest possible list.
